Our Partner and Head of Engineering, Doni Rubiagatra shares his experience of how Python saved his life and the lessons he learned from building a local Python community. Learning Java was initially intimidating and difficult for him, but Python changed his life with simple functions like “print hello.” Python became instrumental in completing his undergraduate thesis, showcasing its versatility and practicality as a programming language.
Furthermore, Doni joined Python communities, which helped to open up job opportunities. The opportunities came apart from his degree, rather as a result of his community involvement and contribution to open source projects.
